This sometimes happens with Windows 7 boxes. The reason is very likely that localhost cannot be resolved correctly. In these situations localhost from file carnot-spring-client.properties needs to be replaced by real host name.

It's required to turn off automatic publishing of resources (StardustConfigPublisher) to avoid that change is overriden with each content publish to server.

Server View > Publishing > Select Enabled Publisher > Unselect IPPConfigPublisher
