Hey Folks - I'm brand new to Eclipse and I've heard nothing but good things, so here I am trying it out - finally.

I've read that you need to go to File > Import > Plug-In Development in order to get to the imports... the problem is that when I open "Import" from the file menu, I see no options for Plug-In Development.

Did I install incorrectly???

Appreciate any help...

Thanks

Try the download from springsource.com/products/eclipse-downloads -- its 175MB -- if you download a version that is 128MB the plug-ins package is not included.

I think what you want is the 181Mb download from eclipse.org entitled,
"Eclipse for RCP and RAP Developers". Or you could get all the Spring
baggage as suggested by the other answer.
