Hi,
Maybe I assumed wrongly.
I thought that once I installed eclipse (indigo) and pdt, that then I could save a small "test.php" file under a new "Test" PHP project, then click on the "test.php" file
and then click on "run as" then click on "PHP Web Page"
and auto-magically, eclipse would launch an internal eclipse web browser (and possibly an internal eclipse web server ) and feed me my "test.php" file as a webpage on the internal web browser.
Didn't happen. So then I thought:
Well, I'll click on "test.php" then click on "Run as" then click on "PHP Script"
And auto-magically, Eclipse/pdt will feed me some sort of result by running it through some sort of internal bundled eclipse php runtime environment.
Didn't happen.
Can anybody tell me if I assumed too much, did something wrong, and if I assumed anything correctly at all?
Thanks for your help.

hi write.to.me,
from my own attempts to get the eclipse pdt to work for me i have worked out for myself that before you can run a php script to debug it you should select Run->Debug Configurations and work through that dialogue.
hope that's useful.
