Hi Rasha,
The first thing when using the ATL launch configuration creation wizard
is to select the name of the concerned project and the ATL file to
launch. The different fields of the wizard will be then automatically
updated.
After that you can choose your source/target metamodels (in your case
the UML2 metamodel by clicking on the "EMF Registry" button, of course
the UML2 plugins need to be installed in your Eclipse).
You can also choose your input/output models (in your case both are UML2
models) by clicking on the corresponding "Workspace" buttons.
I put attached a screenshot of a sample launch configuration for a
UML2-to-UML2 ATL transformation.
Best regards,
Hugo

Hi Hugo,
Thanks so much for your help. The problem that I dont have the same ATL
launch configuration wizard as yours. The one I get is the same as in the
ATL Starters Guide file. Unfortunately, there is no way to attach the
figures. In this wizard, I dont have the "EMF Registry" button. I set the
path for the UML2 metamodel by clicking on the Metamodel by URI and
select http://www.eclipse.org/uml2/2.0.0/UML from the list. I dont have
also "Workspace" buttons. The only choice to set the source/target model
path is through the set path which only shows the ecore files. I followed
the installation steps as in the ATL_Installation_Guide file. How can I
get your ATL launch configuration wizard? Is there is another update
version of ATL I have to install? I have already the UML2 plugins
installed in my Eclipse.
I greatly appreciate your help,
Rasha

Hi Rasha,
You can get the latest version of ATL from
http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/m2m/downloads/index.php?proj ect=atl
Don't worry about the versions of Eclipse, EMF and UML2 which are
mentioned on this page. As far as we know, this latest ATL version works
properly with Eclipse 3.3, EMF 2.3 and UML2 2.1 (this is one of the
configuration I'm also using).
Best regards,
Hugo

Hi Rasha,
Maybe your project doesn't have ATL nature.
Regards,
Freddy.
