Embarrassed Hello Developers,
I am very new to the Development of Apps for Android. It's been a few yrs since i have even seen any code Rolling Eyes. Some info is coming back to me, along with alot of new again stuff. Any how this is the problem. I have dwnld and installed all the software for Eclipse 32bit,64bit, and all the jdk's needed to run. After many hours of reading and following directions lol the best i can, i have tried to do the 1st exercise The Infamous "Hello World" lol . Now i have done this exercise following the instructions from Two different Sources, and i end up with the Same Error message. Here is the error Message...

Its the last few lines ...the emulator error. What am i doing wrong?

Hi capnjac,

I think you have choosen the wrong group to post your question as this group relates to the Test and Performance Tools Project in Eclipse only.

http://developer.android.com/resources/community-groups.html may be a better starting point I guess.

Thank you Torsten, I did start there and i followed their instructions. And after doing everything i end up with the Emulator error. is there a group forum in here that covers stuff like this? if so plz point me and im sorry if i wrote in the group Smile

There is no Android emulator related group on this forum, so I don't think there is a right place to ask questions like this.

Whatever you Problem is though, it seems to be related to your command line parameters of your emulator startup:

invalid command-line parameter: App

Being an android illiterate myself, I think that's all I can do for you here.

Thank you Torsten
The Emulator Stuff is for creating Apps in Eclipse,for Android Platforms. But i did figure out what was wrong. Had to install Eclipse on to C and all Java jre7 had to be on C...Not C:\Prog~ just C:\ and the Android ADT. So now it works.
