Is there a libxercesc.so? What platform are you on and what version of
the agent controller are you running?

Earlier versions of the 64-bit AC (EM64T and IPF) did not distribute the
XercesC library with them as they required a change to the sources
before building. But with 4.2, the sources required no change and so
libxercesc.so was distributed with those releases.

But for other platforms (at least the "standard" ones) ... the XercesC
library should be there.

So... what platform are you running on? and what version of the agent
controller?

Hi Przemyslaw,

Can you tell me what caused this particular problem for you? What did you
do to fix it?

Another person is trying to get profiling working on Ubuntu Dapper Drake and
they are now getting the same error you report below (they reported it in
bugzilla 148890).

Since you have already worked your way through several issues on that
platform, it would be useful to other Ubuntu users if you can list all the
issues you encountered and what you did to fix them.

I had a few problems with this library this problem is connected with old
wersion of xerces parser. I don't remember exactly but I had en full
version of xerces downloaded (http://xml.apache.org/xerces-c/) and change
the path for folder i had it unpacked ( It was something connected with the
files libxerces-depdom ?? ). But as I remember the new download should solve
the problem just set the RAC/lib first in the system PATH or delete xerces
others versions from system because they probobly are not right.

Second problem I had with this library was lack ob librarys from packages
libstdc++6 and libstdc++glibc2.10 (was under debian and ubuntu the don't
have them in standard instalation, I had to add them).

I think that was all.
