Hello - Ultimately I am trying to insturment Tomcat so we can characterize
the load on the server. At this point I am trying to get very high level
statistics, requests/min / thread count / number of sessions / etc. I would
like to log this at some interval point to save the data for later review.
Is there anyway to do this within TPTP? I installed the tech previews and
can see the JMX values, however I don't see anyway to log/view the data. I
would really like to have something like the perfmon stuff. Has someone run
accross an application that does this already, someone has to have solved
this problem already? Should I be looking at writing a statistical data
collector agent to run on the server and collect the JMX attributes there?
Any pointers, suggestions, tutiorials would be greatly appreciated!!!

Consider using dynamic Probekit in TPTP 4.2, which allows you to do
dynamic instrumentation of your Java applications. See the Probing Java
