Hi guys,
as already mentioned in the title I would like to "manually" set the xsi-type of an attribute before saving the ecore to an xml.
The problem I am facing is actually pretty weird and I would change the meta-model if I would not have to stick to it: I would like to set the xsi-type of an actual primitive type. But this type is wrapped and inherited by another which is again the same primitive type i.e.:
Type1: Eshort:
Type2->Type1 : Eshort.
When I set the value in my instance and save the model it does not set the correct xsi-type and hence it cannot be imported in another program I'would like to use. So I have to set it by hand.
Is there a possibility to explicitly set the xsi-type when setting the value even though it is a primitive type?
Thanks in advance,
George
