compilation/weaving - in some cases - not neccessary [message #69760] Sun, 11 March 2007 16:12

Hello again,

I'm working on project, which is composed of few Eclipse projects. We have
Backend(core application layer), which supports domain model classes and
i'm working on Frontend(presentation layer, report printing layer), which
uses Backend. My question is about compilation and weaving when i change
backend library from older to newer. I have aspects which advice
my(Frontend) classes only, but when i change the backend.jar and refresh
my project, it starts compiling and weaving... Is there a possibility to
limit weaving only to classes, excluding libraries? Or to exclude some
libraries?

Or am i thinking about this process in wrong way?
