Hi,
Is there a way to update eclipse 3.6 to 3.7. I want to do this because I want to keep my settings and plugins.
Thanks Smile

I've never done this. (I'm not saying it can't be done, but I don't
think so.) My approach is to export my settings, download Indigo,
download all my plug-ins from scratch ('cause hey some of them may not
work anymore anyway), then import the settings.

Sorry. I'll monitor this thread with the expectation that brighter
spirits will answer with better advice.

Hi

I suggest you install a new package. However, there are two tools that
ease the pain:

1. As of 3.7, one can install plugins from an existing installation. The
import wizards are called "Install software from file" and "Install
software from another product":
http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/topic/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/whatsNew/platform_whatsnew.html?path=0_6_1#Install

2. The Preference Transferrer allows you to transfer all preferences
from one workspace to another using the normal "switch workspace"
function of Eclipse (beware: a shameless advertisement of a plugin I wrote):
