OSGi Tool [message #673950] Wed, 25 May 2011 04:56 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm working with a product based on Eclipse 3.5, Galileo, and I'm doing
it on Windows XP. In order to reduce turn around times I'm constantly
starting, stopping, installing and uninstalling the bundles I'm working
on. Unfortunately the only tool currently available is the OSGi Console
I get when starting the Product with -console. Under Windows this opens
the Windows terminal window (In German it is called Eingabeaufforderung
and I do not know the English term for it) and I really hate it.

Is there something more comfortable available?

I know about the OSGI Console View but that's for Eclipse 3.6.

Also I found some references to a tool named "Bundle Monitor" by Neil
Bartlett. That would be for 3.5 but can't find where to download it. The
links I found are no longer valid.

Thanks,
Dirk

Not to point you to a separate project, but I know the felex web console works well on top of Equinox.
