I have developed a comprehensive Eclipse plug-in help for an application, made of some 80 files. I would be better off if I had used something like wikitext instead of writing directly in html.

Hence my question : is there a ready-made tool that would allow to convert most of all an Eclipse help system into a set of wikitext files ?

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Michel,

In the past I've googled for terms such as html2wiki. There are some
online tools that facilitate conversion of HTML to various wiki formats
(such as this one http://openfacts2.berlios.de/html2wiki/) with varying
degrees of completeness.

There has also been some related discussion on this bug that would
result in such conversions being possible with Mylyn WikiText:

348298: [api] provide a way to construct richtext task descriptions
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=348298

Regards,

David
