how to force eclipse use http instead of http [message #664248] Thu, 07 April 2011 23:12 Go to next message

It's trying to access following URL

https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml

but failed. It is because https is blocked by my company's firewall. Using http is OK.

But I cannot find where to force Eclipse to use http instead of https.

My environment information is as below
* Ubuntu 10.10
* Eclipse IDE for Java Developers, Heli人Service Release 2
Build id: 20110218-0911

Thanks a lot for your help~

At some point you added the Android update site using the https URL; the
good news is that you can edit that URL. Open Preferences and find
Install/Update ? Available Software Sites. There's you'll see the
Android update URL and you can edit it to use http instead of https.
