Hello Mark.
RAP is themeable using CSS-Syntax, so its quite possibel for you to
adapt its look to be more iPad-like. See in the RAP Developer Guide:
"Advanced Topics"->"RWT Theming" and "Reference"->"RAP Theming
Reference". If you miss a certain feature in theming, open an
enhancement request on bugzilla, we are constantly trying to improve
RAPs theming-capability.
We are also considering creating and offering an iOS/Mac-like custom
theme for RAP ourselves, but i cant yet say when this will be.
If you would want a 100% complete iPad-native look-and-feel including
its native-widgets and touch-interface, a native iPad RAP-client would
be needed. This might have been what you read about. While such a client
is theoretically possible, but does currently not exist.
Greetings,
Tim

Hi,
iAd == AdLib. The adlib was "inofficially" published before. The bad
thing is, that this lib can't be used to build applications. The Apple
license aggreements are the problem for this topic.
The blog post was about a reasearch effort. We couldn't publish the iAd
client to avoid legal problems.
Anyway. Native Clients will be possible when implemented the protocol,
see bug 311355. We are currently working on this topic and we hope that
the protocol can find it's way into Indigo.
Regards Holger
