how to proceed with Graphiti [message #660271]

hi,

i'm developping a graphical user interface from an EMF diagram.

To do so, i'm trying to use graphiti. But, i don't know how to proceed with graphiti. I wonder if there are graphit examples (projects) to start with.

To start, you should simply download the SDK version of Graphiti from our
download site (see http://www.eclipse.org/graphiti/download.php). In the
Eclipse help you will find a section about Graphiti containing a tutorial
that you should follow (coding of the tutorial example is also installed
with the SDK).

In fact, i do that. But, i have two problems:

In one hand, i see in the tutorial example a set of created icons. But, how to open a diagram that contains these icons?

And the other problem is that i don't know how to use the EMF diagram to create the interface with Graphiti Sad

.

Basically you need to create a diagram using the provided wizard and then
you can play around with the tutorial editor. Just read through the first 2
or 3 pages of the tutorial and the questions wil be answered. The written
version is part of the Eclipse help.

Hi,

Actually, i tried to create a new diagram type inspiring form the tutorial.

Finally, i can create new features and represent it in the diagram. It seems to be more clear now.
