How to Open the Problems View window (Perl Editing) [message #659668] Tue, 15 March 2011 06:53 Go to next message

I'm using the internal Epic editor with Eclipse with a Perl project. I had a 'Problems View" window for a while. Now I don't have it and can't find the option to open this feature.

I have searched the Help resources, but they all show how to use it. I can't find a reference on how to bring it up.

Can someone advise me on how to bring it up?

I believe I recall having saw it under Window -> Problem View. But it's not there. It's also not in Window -> Show View.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or comments.

It should definitely be available under Window > Show View > Other...
Alternatively, you can use Ctrl+3 (Command+3 on Mac) and then start
typing the word "problems" (without the quotes) and it should show up there.

Thanks, Eric. Found it!

I knew it would be some simple oversight. It's a great feature. I don't know how I lost it. But I when into Customize Perspective to add it back.

Maybe it was a default perspective that I had been using and somehow changes perspectives that didn't include it.

Thanks again!
