How to add dependencies to manifest.xpt [message #655397] Sun, 20 February 2011 10:00 Go to next message

Hi,

my generated diagram plugin needs dependencies to other plugins. I found out that the manifest.xpt template in the org.eclipse.gmf.codegen plugin is responsible for the dependencies. But I cannot find a way to extend this template. How can I do this?

Thanks,

Ralph

Hi,

there is an easier and cleaner way to do that:
in gmfgen->Gen Editor->Gen Plugin->required Plugin identifiers

BTW to customize generation you can take a look to my blog post: http://www.bonitasoft.org/blog/eclipse/customize-your-gmf-ed itor-by-customizing-templates/

Regards,

Hello,

You can tweak the generation for your diagram either by overriding xpt templates, or by using aspects. See http://www.bonitasoft.org/blog/eclipse/customize-your-gmf-ed itor-by-customizing-templates/

Hi Aurelien, I am new with GMF templates. Do you know if it is possible to get the gmfgen, gmfmap, and gmfgraph synchronized with the templates customization?

Thanks in advance.
