Large Resource Support MySQL [message #65497]

Hi

Im trying to get a MySQL data base to work as database for large resource
support. I got it working for cloudscape (embedded) but when i try with
MySQL i have no succsess.

I have installed a MySQL database, executed the MySQL script located in the
org.eclipse.hyades.resources.database_4.1.0 plugin.
When i first edit the preference page and stake the JDBC driver location i
got an error that says "Invalid JDBC driver", i close the page and open it
again and the error has gone away. Testing connection works fine. However
when i import a log file nothing is put to into the database and no green
litle database icon is visibile (as for the cloudscape database).

Has anyone experienced similiar problems ? Is it possible to use this
feature with other databases except for db2 and cloudscape ??

I'm using Eclipse 3.2 and TPTP 4.1.0

Hi Johan,

The MySQL support it is not complete and is currently disabled.

In order to enable it you need to uncomment the extension that contains
org.eclipse.hyades.resources.database.internal.extensions.my sql.MySqlExtension
in /org.eclipse.hyades.resources.database/plugin.xml.

Basically the log time base correlation won't work, please let me know
if you find any other problem.
