cdo builds on twitter (@cdobuilds), not anymore? [message #651773]

I saw a reference on the hudson site to get build notices via twitter: @cdobuilds. It is below the CDO logo: "All builds are announced via Twitter."

Unfortunately the twitter account has been silent since September 2 (probably 2010).

What is the status?

I'm sorry but on the new Hudson server the Twitter plugin has not been installed by the webmasters ;-(

BTW. if you add https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/emf-cdo-integration/la stSuccessfulBuild/artifact/result/site.p2 to the list of update site you automatically update from, I think you should always get the latest successful builds.

Please note that we can give no guarantees that lastSuccessfulBuild points to a strongly monotone sequence of builds! Today I had to delete some good ones in order to make space on the disk for a new one ;-(

Sorry, that was a bit terse, I agree. Let me refrase:

What should be done to make the site webmasters install this twitter plugin again? (or remove the reference to the twitter feature from the website) Will they read this post and act upon it or do they need a bugreport or is there another way?

I just like the idea of having tweets whenever new builds appear.

Oh, and yes we know that this is a development line and no guarantees are made whatsoever. Wink
