In addition to many bug fixes, the 1.1.1 release of STEM contains new global earth science data, including elevation and monthly rainfall, vegetation and temperature. To see an example of how the earth science data can be used to model mosquito densities in Asia, you can download an example scenario here (requires the global earth science models as well as the global geography models):

The release also includes a new feature to import graphs into STEM from pajek network files. You can read more about this feature in the tutorials here:
