Assume I use the built-in Maven plugin (and not an external maven installation).

Where (in Eclipse+Maven Plugin) can I enter additional external Repositories (from Internet, not the local one)?

Resp. where is the responsible settings.xml for the Maven plugin in Eclipse?

It should be located on <your-home>/.m2/ like the local maven repository
too.
