Hi,

When I create a Composite with a TextField and a Decoration associated to it, the width of the Composite is not big enought.
In fact, I cannot see the Decoration because the width is too small.

Is there a workaround for this issue ?

Hi,

you're talking about ControlDecoration, don't you?

This is not an issue but by intention. You have to leave some space for
the decorators in your layout.

From the ControlDecoration JavaDoc:

"Clients using ControlDecoration should typically ensure that enough
margin space is reserved for a decoration by altering the layout data
margins, although this is not assumed or required by the ControlDecoration
implementation."

HTH, Ralf
