interactive shell to run programs with eclipse [message #646262]

Eclipse User

I am learning C and using Eclipse to run my programs. The only other language I know is Python and am familiar with having my text editor and then when I want to run the program the python interactive shell shows me the output. On eclipse the output comes out in the console but it is not like the interactive shell so I can't test quick things. Is there a shell viewing option in eclipse to see output? It would be kinda beneficial to have.
