Greetings all. A review is currently underway to terminate and archive the Blink project as part of the DSDP project restructuring. The review is due to complete on September 29/2010. Once the review period is complete, we will decide what to do with the project.

Please see http://wiki.eclipse.org/DSDP/Restructuring_Review

We will review comments made in this forum prior to making our determination of the review outcome. Now is your time to voice your concerns.

Thanks,

Wayne

sorry to hear that. I am interested in finding a project which give java platform a fast, standard-consistent web browser. java xpcom is good, but xulrunner 2.x will not supported by swt. webkit seems a good alternative but embeding it to java is not a easy task.

The swt Browser + xulrunner provides this, you just need xulrunner with
version < 2.0. Also, WebKit-based swt Browsers are planned for all
platforms as of Eclipse/SWT 3.7 (the plan item for the remaining platform,
Windows, is https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=325995 ). Again,
using these will just require that an appropriate WebKit version be
installed on the user's machine.
