According to UML Distilled book, properties may appear in two notations: attributes and associations.

So, I declared an UML profile and a stereotype that extends UML Property metaclass, but I can't apply the profile to an association Property. It only appears to attributes properties inside the class boxes.

I wanna set the steretorype like the property currentLocation between Person and Location in the figure below

Is there a constraint to this?
