Hi there,

I was recently trying the JSF capabilities (as I develop a JSF-based UI
framework ) and was scoping the out-of-the-box capabilites for rapid
application development(RAD), which I found quite nice on Eclipse WTP.

Later on, I went to try the latest NetBeans release (6.5), and found it
much better, without the need for jars, and more consistent visual editor
that was pleasant to use.

My concrete question: I was wondering if there are any plans to
compete/improve the visual editor experience in the JSF RAD area? Let's
say, JSF page editor out-of-the-box.

(I personally would like to better use WTP, but I'm currently losing my
case)

Cheers and thanks,
Igor

PS: I was at the EclipseCon 2008, but was more focused on EMF and Modeling
talks. Perhaps there was some additional information from the WTP
presentation?
