hi,

Regarding component diagram, I need to add some visualization things.

Is it possible to change the colour of components and packages?

How can I add a line between two ports or two components? So purely
visualization.

How can I add some text to that line.

One other thing,

I did the following:

Created two components a and b.
Created an owned port in component a and b.
Created a property in component a. Typed that property with component a.
Created a property in component a. Typed that property with component b.
Created an owned connector in component a.
Created two ends in connector, each with a role as one of the above
properties.
Created two classes, class1 and class2.
Created an Interface i1.
Typed port from component a with class1, typed port from component b with
class2.
Created a usage with client set to class1, supplier set to i1.
Created a realization with client set to class2, supplier set to i2.

This creates a connector between two components as described from the uml2
newsgroup.

It visualizes as the following in the class diagram: two components, each
with port. Two classes that are connected with lollypop notation.
Seems logical seeing as that's what I just described above.

Shouldn't it also be possible to have lollypop notation between two ports,
and thus the owning components? This is the component diagram notation,
will the component diagram show it in the same way as class diagram?

Not sure if the second question is clear, let me know if you don't
understand,

regards,
nick

and thanks for the help
