Salut,

I investigate the modeling of a Jxta provider for ECF. I've some ways
through this work and would like to discuss on that.

First, I think that that the provider should furnish a container for the
Jxta NetPeerGroup that register and provides all necessary services for a
Jxta peer to instantiate and find other peer on the jxta net: PDP, Pipe
resolver...

The container then should be modeled as the generic container to provide
service for ECFramework.

Does it sound reasonable ?

Absolutely. It doesn't just sound reasonable, it sounds inevitable :).

Some of us have been wanting a Jxta provider for ECF for a long time.

Pierre-Henry would it be possible for you to work with us to build such
a provider? I think there are some others on the list, including an
existing ECF committer with similar designs...perhaps we could
coordinate a sub-project precisely to create a JxtaContainer.
