Hello, I'm a newbie to AspectJ and I have some trouble integrating an
Aspect (a file with extension .aj) to my existing java project.

how can I do this? What do I have to configure? What is the way it used to
be to integtrate AspecJ in existing java projects?

Should I place the aspects in a package within the existing project or is
it a completely separated project within Eclipse?

I have installed AspectJ 1.5. I have AJDT unzipped into the Eclipse
installation folder (ajdt_1.3_for_eclipse_3.1.zip) as well but I didn't
see anything from AJDT. Do I have to do anything else?

OK.
Richt click on the existing project, select Convert to AspectJ project...
and it works.
