We have an open Senior developer position here at TIBCO Software in Palo Alto, CA
This is a full time job, not a contracting position.
The position is to work in SOA development tools for the ActiveMatrix product. We are doing pretty cool stuff and the team and all of TIBCO's engineering is pretty high level. Not to mention the facilities and cafeteria are great.

The TIBCO Products and Technology Group is responsible for the creation of new software products, the continued innovation and development of existing products and the ongoing support of those products through the full product life-cycle. Our software helps many of the largest blue chip companies to reduce their costs, improve customer service and go-to-market capability, and increase overall competitive edge in the market.
With over 500 P&T employees, across North America, Europe, India and China, the department includes architecture, software engineering, technical authoring, quality assurance, support and project management. The group responsible for developing and working with a multitude of technologies including Java/J2EE, C/C++, Eclipse, Windows, Unix, Oracle, SQL Server, DB/2 and XML.
You will work as part of the engineering team helping to develop future leading products for many different markets including Financial Services, Government, Pharmaceuticals and Telecommunications. You will be in a team responsible for aspects of the requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and engineering documentation of new and innovative products for BPM. There will be a focus on developing using industry standard technologies and using efficient and productive tools and techniques to develop feature rich, enterprise strength software products. This position will focus on the Active Matrix design time which will involve hands on development using Eclipse, web services, and JAVA technologies.
Qualifications:
* BS/CS, MS/CS degree required.
* 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience with the following is required:
* Knowledge of web services and related technologies is a plus.
* Strong software analysis, development, and design skills
* Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment
* Understanding of the full software product life-cycle
o Developing Eclipse-based applications involving the following concepts:
+ Use JDT, EMF, GMF, GEF, WTP
+ 3+ years experience in developing canvas-based applications on Eclipse.
o Design, implementation and operational experience with highly available, reliable, and scalable, distributed software systems
o Web-standards - XML, XSD, XSLT, HTTP(s), WS/SOAP,WS-Security
