The changes worked successfully in the PDE development environment.
However, I'm wondering how to deliver this plugin change to another
machine which has the same version of eclipse running? I tried the
following but failed:

1) there're some online instructions on how to create an update site for a
plugin, but most is for new plugins. Is there any instruction for existing

2) tried this concept of creating update site with another existing
feature (rcp). The update site was created okay, but when I tried to
install from eclipse (help->software update-> find and install), the
option "search for updates of the currently installed features" seemed to
look for features from online http site, instead of letting me specify the
one that I created. When I tried the other option (search for new features
to install), it did not pick up the updatesite that I created earlier.

I wonder if it does not consider it as a new feature? Is there workaround
for this? What will an eclipse developer usually do when they need to make
changes to an existing core plugins? Is there any shortcut by replacing
certain jars?
