hi..
i'm trying to turn mylyn as a seperate RCP app according to this:

but i'm trying to add my own connector but it won't show up (on add repo menu) , i did notice that my connector requires team.ui which i don't have, but i can't see anything in the log errors.

Are you aware that an RCP app based on Mylyn is commercially available?
Take a look at http://tasktop.com

no, but the whole point of doing our rcp application is to save money on 1000$ per client licences, so it's kinda defeats the point.
anyway doing mylyn alone was ok, i just need my own connector to be there as well, and that's where problems begin.

Hello everybody

I'm a convinced user of mylyn, but unfortunately not planning to go
commercial for the moment, so I'm also interested in a RCP distribution
of Mylyn...

1 - Why is'nt it planned ? If tasktop has a Commercial+Open Source
Business model, then providing a "Community" version as RCP should not
be much a work ?
2 - Has anyone managed to produce this distribution ?

Hello Again

The Tasktop software enables to be used, without license, with only the
Mylyn features and p2 update repository update..
So in a sense, it meets my needs..

The commercial distribution can be used, without license, as a community
version... The revert (a community version upgradable to a commercial
version) would be nice to have...
