Congratulations!

So, you're probably not new to Hibernate, however, I tackle it from an
Eclipse point of view in an article at
http://www.javahotchocolate.com/tutorials/hibernate.html I'll bet what
puzzles you is explained in there. Ignore the stupid bits of the article
and you're there.

There are two ways of doing Spring. The first is to download the
plug-ins for Eclipse. I haven't done this, but I think it's the most
common and the most stable. More on plug-ins in a moment...
Second, you could download the SpringSource Tool Suite (STS) from
Spring. If you can get it set up just right, it's pretty cool. I find
that it's hard to get and set up a copy that is stable on either Linux
or Windows, though I haven't tried since the beginning of the year. At
this point, I'm not doing any Spring, but I expect that will change soon.

Always and only install new software (read: plug-ins) using Help ->
Install New Software. There is another option, using the dropins
subdirectory under eclipse, but that's a last-ditch thing to be avoided
as long as you can.

Probably because you were really looking for the Help -> Install New
Software or the Help -> Check for Updates menu items?
