Are there plans to integrate the git svn capability with EGit or is this capability already present? I haven't been able to find any mention of it here.

Hi Jack,

I am not a developer of either EGit nor JGit, so I can not answer your
question, but I am just interested in what do you mean by "integrating
git and svn capabilities"

What use cases do you have in mind?

Also - you would have to be more precise - what SVN plug-in integration
do you have in mind? There are currently two and both have their
strengths and weaknesses...

I think, what he means is what's described here [1]:
To use only egit in eclipse, but access an svn repository "in the back".
So the use case would be that a developer prefers working with egit, but the company he works for has a subversion repo as their scm solution - using git svn you can do so.

Kay
