Eclipse PDT & MAMP [message #545216] Wed, 07 July 2010 04:15 Go to next message

I have just installed Eclipse for PHP Developers, Version: Helios Release. And then i have installed MAMP Pro 1.9.

Now i have two questions regarding this issue?

1. How do i start and run MAMP from within Eclipse like you do with any other server like Jboss, GlassFish or Tomcat?

2. How do i deploy from within Eclipse both locally and to my server? Would i be using ANT for this? If so how do i configure all this from Eclipse?

I have been using Eclipse for JSP before but i have now changed to PHP instead so this is slightly different from what i am used to from before. Could anybody help me with this please? Or point me in the right direction where i can read more about this?

You might get more response to this question in the PDT (PHP Dev Tools)
forum group.
