Eclipse for WebLogic Workspace Issue [message #542623]

I am using Eclipse for WebLogic 10.3.2 and initially used C:\Documents and Settings\wglandi\workspace as the default location for my workspace. I've since moved my workspace to C:\workspace. Everything works well, except Eclipse creates a new workspace in C:\Documents and Settings\wglandi\workspace with the oracle.eclipse.tools.weblogic plugin.

Normally I wouldn't care, but the files in this location are causing profile save issues (Cannot copy file - filename too long) when I logout and my profile can't be loaded the next time I login.

Anyone have any idea how I can make Eclipse stop creating these files in the old workspace?

Bill,

This isn't a technical forum. Eclipse itself uses a -data command line
argument to specify where the workspace is located. If you have more
questions that Google can't answer, use the newcomers or platform forum.

Also try your luck in some of the Oracle-driven forums like Gemini or
Sapphire. While those aren't directly related to WebLogic either, many
people there still use WL at Oracle ;-)
