How to specify guards in activity diagrams [message #541630] Mon, 21 June 2010 16:43
Eclipse UserFriend
A ControlFlow is a subinterface of ActivityEdge in activity diagrams. According to the UML2 spec and to the UML2 API JavaDoc, an activity edge may have a guard, with getGuard, setGuard, and createGuard corrsponding methods.

In the activity diagram editor ControlFlow edges have a guard property. However, I could not find the way to edit a new guard or to view the guard in the diagram graphics.

If I edit it in simple text in the properties view, the text disappears. If I click the button to browse for guards, I does not let me choose anything.

Any suggestions?
