Hello Michael,
Please, check whether you provided auth information for Repository
Location or some particular realm (there was problem with it which was
fixed in last weekly build), you can do this in the following way:
select repository location in SVN Repositories view, right-click and
call Edit Repository Location action, then check 'Show Credentials For'
combo whether your ssh information is saved for <Repository Location> or
some other realm. If it's saved for realm and you don't need it you can
freely delete realm and then provide auth information for <Repository
Location>.

I've gotten this same kind of problem with several incarnations and comibinations of Eclipse and svn connectors, the latest of which is Galileo Java EE IDE Build 20090621-0832, Java HL 1.6, and Subversion SVN Integration for the Mylyn Project. All this on Windows XP.
In the beginning, I had picked the option that leads to the Credentials popup saying something like "secret information is saved in a file that's difficult but not impossible for an intruder to read."
My current setup had been working for something like two months, and then maybe bcause I had too much going on on my computer, Eclipse locked up. After I closed some applications and got back into Eclipse, any time that I accessed the SVN repository I'd get the user credential popup, type in my proper username and password a few times, and fail.
Attempts to fix this, either as recommended in this thread or by just typing in my correct name and password in the credentials popup, have failed. . I'm in an organizational setting and wind up getting locked out -- and so having to bother either the svn administrator or the ldap administrator, depending on the structure of the current regime, And that kind of thing leads to organizational resistance to Eclipse + svn (e.g., Eclipse as configured by the desktop support guys in my current organization does not come with any svn support).
I'm hoping that somebody can point me to where the secret file is (I haven't been able to find this, but maybe that's because it's a secret). I want to try looking at the permissions of and deleting this file, but I don't know where it is. Research of that question has not yielded any answers. The idea is that as soon as a mishap causes me to see that dreaded credentials popup, I can do something surgical myself (not with the Eclipse GUI, but on the file system) and not wind up bothering administrators about my being locked out.

contained in weekly build. Please, try it, weekly update site:
