C/C++ formatter API/plug-in in CDT or Eclipse [message #540416] Wed, 16 June 2010 01:43
Eclipse UserFriend
I am looking for a Eclipse plug-in or API which can programmatically invoked to format C/C++ source code in a given directory.

Does anybody now CDT has an API that can be called in Java to format a given C/C++ source file? If so, is there any sample code or documentation for this?

If CDT or Eclipse does not have such thing, does any third-party have a Eclipse plug-in proving the same functionality?
(Astyle seems a discontinued project. And Jindent only has beta version and I am not sure it is provided as a plugin.)

Thanks.
