Hi,

is it possible to create a new local bare repository with EGit?

This would be similar to the following git command line:

git clone --bare . ../remote-repository.git

I have also opened bug
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=314107 but perhaps I'm
doing something wrong.
