Problems with deployin to war file to Tomcat 6.0 [message #532505]

Gooday,

I followed the steps of the folwoing instructions:

http://www.eclipse.org/equinox/server/http_quickstart.php

then this:

then I followed the help file to duble check..

I seem to run in to a snag. I switched in the web.xml the console on. Becouse I wanna see it start up in my Tomcat 6.0 (running on windows XP).

It doesnt load the OSGi console when I start the application. Altouch it does show the web icon and some kind of Rap startpage with my icon. But it does not load the application or the OSGi console in the Tomcat comandline.

If i use this bridge test: http://kcode.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/osgi/HelloWorldEmbedWe bJSP/web/lib/bridge.war it loads the console..

If I try sp_test in my test application I get :
Servlet delegate registered - org.eclipse.equinox.http.servlet.HttpServiceServlet

The bigest difrens is that the brdige.war works on OSGi 3.3 and my application uses OGSi 3.6 and has a self written appliation. What am I doing wrong?

hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.

As the blogpost states it is outdated. Please follow the instructions of
the "WAR Deployment" tutorial from the integrated help.
If you are still having trouble, please also check the FAQ:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/RAP/FAQ#Exported_WAR_file_does_not_w ork

Rüdiger,

The problem is Im getting the RAP STartup Page.. Its not loading my entrypoint (in my case test). Its just a blanck page the bridge seems to be working.. its just not loading my entry point.

Martijn,

I can't help you without further information. Please, go along the
tutorial, double check everything, do check the things mentioned in the FAQ.
If you are still having problems, please post here with details
(exception, unresolved bundles, what exactly means "not loading my entry
point ", etc.).

I found the problem I was single sourcing and there for had all the rap or rpc dependency set as optional then the validation trick for the feature that written in the in the FAQ. Wont work totaly my bad Twisted Evil
