I use a fresh Eclipse 3.5.2 (eclipse-modeling-galileo-SR2-incubation-win32) and want to use the new dropins folder for my plugins, so I unzipped and copied them to it by using the ways 'Equinox p2 Getting Started' ( http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_p2_Getting_Started#Supported _dropins_formats) offers.

However, restarting Eclipse, even with a '-clean' argument, has no effect -- no plugin would be recognized.

Moving those plugins to the plugins folder works as desired, so what have I done wrong?

Is there anything else I should do before/after (and what the link lacked to tell me)?
