Hi,

how do I manage to get the Compare viewer which uses Trees to display
the XML contents when comparing two XML files with

File's Context Menu -> Compare With -> Each Other

The default case seems to be a textual comparison.

does not help with this respect.

Any pointer on this is really much appreciated!

The example you're referring to is there to illustrate how to register a compare merge viewer and other viewers. The purpose is not to provide an XML compare. It's more like a side effect Wink

If you want to see real XML compare support,
the best place to request it would be from the WTP project which provides a full blown XML editor. But make sure to check first it they don't provide the XML compare already.
