Association 'Delete from Diagram' destroys model [message #527473]

The model and diagram is destroyed when I want to remove an association from a class diagram:
- select an association in a class diagram
- right mouse button to show association's context menu
- select 'Delete from diagram'
This destroys the diagram (.umlclass) and the model (.uml).

I am using UML2 Tools v0.9.0v20090619. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. Any workarounds?
