Hello everybody, here is my feedback on 3 modelers I've tested with Acceleo

- MagicDraw : works perfectly. Everything it produces, even stereotypes applied recursively on profiles, is perfectly recognized by acceleo.
- Rhapsody : because my company wanted me to use this modeler, I've tried to. At first, it looked fine, but when the model are getting more complex, especialy when enumerated tagged values are used, it causes parsing errors. This, combined with the fact that Rhapsody is not full UML2 complient make it NOT usable with Acceleo.
- Rational Software Modeler (RSM) : A very efficient modeler, developped as an Eclipse plugin. The uml files it generates are fully compatible with Acceleo.

MagicDraw : ++
RSM : ++
Rhapsody : --

Regards

Sebastien

Hi Sebastien,

Thanks a lot for your feedback, this should help people in selecting
their modelers when they need to use EMF-related technology with their
models.
