Does WPT participate in re-factoring, "References in Workspace", and so
on?
If so, it does not work in my installation, which means I must have
turned off some preference?

While I am glad that this exists, it does not work for me.
The project was originally created in version 3.0 and I was using
MyEclipse as the web tools plugin. I then d/l Eclipse EE, but there was
no way to convert the "normal" project to a "Dynamic Web" project. So I
created an empty Dynamic Web project, then copied over the classes and
JSP pages into the correct directories (I think it was around 3.2). I
have since installed the various new versions of Eclipse and pointing
all of them to the same workspace.
All the WPT stuff works (editors, validation, publishing, etc), EXCEPT
for refactoring and references. Oh yes, hovering over classes, methods
and constants does not pop up an info window. Maybe related? Though
CTRL-Click does go to the class source and content assist does work.
I have tried to go through the preferences to see if I have managed to
turn these off, but nothing stands out.
I am at 3.4, waiting for some free time to upgrade to 3.5 (and install
all the plugins etc).
