Hi there,

what is the right way to specify fonts for a GMF editor? I understand
you can specify a BasicFont in the gmfgraph model. It requires a "Face
Name" attribute, which seems to be the name of the font.

How do I correctly enter a font name that is platform independent? I
want to use my editor on Windows/Linux/Mac and even interchange model
files from different platforms.

So what is a platform independent font?

If I do not set any font at all, the different platforms use different
default fonts (Windows=Tahoma, Linux=Sans, Mac=Lucida) in such way that
a model edited with different platforms looks awkwards...

What's the right way to do it?

Cheers,
Hauke

Same here, we have problems with the different platforms saving incorrect fonts and locations all the time. I did find a bug in SWT https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=48055 it seems that SWTFontUtils might possibly help us with Monospaced fonts
