Hi,

When will the source code for BIRT 2.5.1 be made available for download?
I normally check it out from CVS "versions" / "source", but the latest source code is for BIRT 2.5.0.

Thanks.

The source is already available. refresh the tags and look for
BIRT_2_5_1_Release_200909171447

Hi Jason,

Yes, I refreshed the tags but I still can't see 2.5.1.
The top five I see listed under "source" are:

source v20061120-1200
source testTag
source BIRT_2_5_0_Release_200906170630
source BIRT_2_5_0_RC2_200905261352
source BIRT_2_5_0_M6_200903181537

I was expecting to see 2.5.1 here. I am looking in the usual location: dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/birt

Is this still correct, or did something change?

Thanks.

Please log a bug for this. For a work around use check out as.. right
click option. When the Select Tag option dialog is displayed click the
refresh tags button. The release tag should then be visible.

Hi Jason,

No luck with the work-around. I logged a bug, id=292564.

Thanks,

Since the release tag was not made on the root module "source", so it won't
show up under "source" module by default.

As a workaround, you can use CVS repo configuration to make it show up in your
eclipse.

Steps:
1. Add BIRT CVS repo
2. In CVS Repository view, right click on "Versions"->"source"->"Configure
Branches and Versions..."
3. Select either plugins and extend it. (eg.org.eclipse.birt)
4. Select either file under the plugins. (eg. about.html)
5. "Deselect All" the tags found on this file
6. Tick the "BIRT_2_5_1_Release_200909171447" tag, click "Add Checked Tags"
7. Click "OK" to exit the configure dialog.

The 2.5.1 release tag shows up under the source now.
