I am very new to eclipse and I am stuck at a problem. I want to configure a JNDI datasource in tomcat. For that I want to edit the server.xml file in the conf directory. When I edit the server.xml file externally and restart tomcat from eclipse, the old server.xml file gets loaded. All the changes made externally are lost. How do I get arround this problem.

regards,
jatin.

Re-directing this question to the Web Tools Project (WTP) group,
eclipse.webtools

The server.xml to modify is the one under the Servers project in your
workspace. For details, see:

Larry
