I searched the forums but no joy, hopefully someone can help. How can i change the default file permissions used when creating a new Class, Package, etc. I have my umask set to 002 (2) however the file permissions don't reflect the umask i.e. files are 644 and folders are 755.

thanks in advance,
12

You cannot change that over the Eclipse UI. I would expect that it
simply inherits from the parent folder.
